Pick up at Pierrefonds airport where we will take you by minibus to the starting point of the hike at Pont d’Yves. You will start the hike down the trail with a professional guide.
The walk lasts about two and a half hours (about 350 metres of negative slope). Depending on the season, wild fruits are available. You will also enjoy a great view of the south coastline and the Bras de la Plaine.
After a few passages of the river, the guide will introduce you to the geographical attractions of the area. He will also explain about the fauna and flora, sometimes unique, of this picturesque place. Your efforts are rewarded with an authentic Creole dish. This can be complemented by a refreshing swim in the river.
